You can contact me many different ways. I check my email regularly and promise to contact you within 24 hours. You can call and leave a message on my voicemail for me to return, or send a note in with your child with a number and time to contact you.

Scholastic Book Orders: Scholastic Book Club Orders will come home from school several times a year. The orders you send in help us earn free books for our classroom. You can send cash or checks (made out to Scholastic) in with the orders.
Birthdays: We love to celebrate your child’s birthday. There are 20 students in the class. We are a peanut free class. Let me know, in advance, what day you would like to celebrate your birthday:)
Field Trips: We will have a 5th grade field trip. Parent Volunteers are always needed. Information will come home early, so work arrangements can be made if you would like to join us.
Assessments of Learning:
Every day I am looking for evidence that your child is learning. Sometimes it may be doing a journal page in the math book with your child or a small group of children, or asking your child to read a selection aloud. Other times the assessments may be quizzes, or assessments. Keep your eye out for work that comes home so you can be linked to how your child is doing in school.
